Upfest Bristol Street Art Festival
Upfest is a street art festival held annually in Bristol, UK. It attracts artists and visitors from all over the world and has become one of the largest street art festivals in Europe. The festival provides a platform for artists to showcase their talents by creating murals and installations throughout the city. Visitors can enjoy the artwork, attend talks and workshops. And even purchase artwork from the artists themselves. Upfest celebrates the diversity and creativity of street art and has helped to establish Bristol as a hub for street art culture.
Bristol Mural Collective BMC
Laura Erviti is a member of BMC (Bristol Mural Collective) , an intersectional women-led mural collective. It empowers women and non-binary artists of all levels, to get together and paint the streets. The Bristol Mural Collective provides support, advice and visibility for womxn working in street art. The group welcomes both experienced wall painters, and those who are interested to start their first wall.
Laura Erviti uses Graphenstone paint, a carbon-negative paint that absorbs CO2 in her painting. Her curiosity for researching sustainability topics is evident in her work and always tries to improve. Laura’s art is a dedication to sustainability and the environment. By incorporating these values into her work, she hopes to inspire others to think more critically about their impact on the planet.
